Dark Meadow 09:07
Did you have to look away? The sun used to shine here everyday So they say You’re like a plague upon this land And all you do is dragging others down Into descent Spiraling down into a void to hide And so they sing Take us down Take us home You know you've got to let them go Don’t let them drown In your tears of sorrow We’ve never done you any wrong Now it’s time for you To put an end to this song No spiraling down into the void To hide Rage and anger fuels inside the fool Realizing she’s been used like a tool On the edge of the faceless crowd A smile appears Breaking through the clouds Wait don’t leave We can try to work it out, you’ll see Take us down Take us home Take us down Take us home So sing and old song And I’ll comfort you along With the warmth and the love That you’ve been wanting for so long Now don’t go change your mind We don’t have more time We've got to go now and unwind You need to let everything go So Sing and old song And I’ll comfort you along With the warmth And the love that you’ve Been wanting for so long Now don’t go change your mind We don’t have more time We've got to go now and unwind You need to let everything go

Planet Heist 03:20
Here we come, run! Jump into the system Eclipse the sun that burns So bright in the sky Wreak havoc below Go until the planet's core is mine Make ready the weapon Force the steel deep Inside the planet's core Furnace ablaze Forged to the ancient drums of war There's no hope For the living beneath me Here we come, run! Stealing planets I like 'cause it suits me It's a planet heist A planet heist There's no hope For the living beneath me The living below They already know Death is what I sow No hope for the living beneath me The flame, the fire The heart, devoured The end, the truth Beware of the Golem's iron rise And now that you see me You'd better believe me Your world is done To fire, to flames Make way For the future that I crave There's no hope For the living beneath me Here we come, run! Stealing planets I like 'cause it suits me It's a planet heist A planet heist There's no hope For the living beneath me The living below They already know Death is what I sow No hope For the living beneath me

Should I 06:11
I should have told you Every single day And I should have let you know To never stray away If there were ways to right The wrongs or change the past It could have gone To a total different way From now on I’m going To try to live a better life Again But it’s hard Hard to leave the only road I know All these excuses And the lies start to paralyze I can change I can adapt But I fear it’s too late Maybe it’s all Just a distant dream It’s time to wake up I could have told you But you would never have agreed And I could have told you To put your mind At ease and be freed If there were ways to right The wrongs or change the past It could have gone To a total different way From now on I’m going To try to live a better life Again But it’s hard, hard to leave The only road I know All these excuses And the lies start to paralyze I can change I can adapt But I fear it’s too late Maybe it’s all Just a distant dream It’s time to wake up I would have told you If you weren’t so pertinacious And I would have let you know You are not alone If there were ways to right The wrongs or change the past It could have gone To a total different way From now on I’m going To try to live a better life Again But it’s hard hard to leave The only road I know All these excuses a Nd the lies start to paralyze I can change I can adapt But I fear it’s too late Maybe it’s all just a distant dream It’s time to wake up

about

"Planet Dysphoria" builds upon Stone Golem's established narrative, which began with their critically acclaimed albums "The Universe of…" and "In the Shadow of Titans." The EP introduces three distinct tracks, each offering a unique perspective from characters embroiled in a timeless struggle.

"Dark Meadow” [Listen here]
Explores the story of a woman bestowed with immortality by a universe-creating lover, forever altering the natural order. Her solitude in a desolate meadow sets in motion events of cosmic significance.

"Planet Heist" [Listen here]
From the perspective of the enigmatic Goose, this track unveils a sinister scheme to plunder entire planets, fueling an insatiable cosmic entity known as the Iron Golem. A relentless pursuit unfolds, with the very fabric of the universe hanging in the balance.

"Should I" [Listen here]
Follows the journey of Johnny the space cowboy as he grapples with the consequences of an event that unleashed unimaginable power, leading to a quest for redemption.

Sylvia, Stone Golem's lead vocalist and guitarist, brings a personal touch to this EP. Through introspective lyrics, she shares her journey as a trans woman, incorporating themes of self-discovery and empowerment.
Sylvia remarks, "The word 'dysphoria' in the EP title reflects a pivotal moment in my life when I embraced my true self. It's a reminder that even in the darkest times, there's strength in authenticity. I hope this resonates with others on their own journeys."
In addition to its powerful narrative, "Planet Dysphoria" subtly incorporates trans representation, with hints of pink and blue as a nod to the journey of self-discovery.
